Fosfatos del Pacífico S.A. is a public Company listed in the Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) which engages in all type of metallic and non-metallic mining activities. The company is the holder of the concession for non-metallic mining activities in Bayovar 9, in which, up to date, significant diatomite and phosphate rock deposits have been spotted.

GENERAL PROJECT DESIGN

The Access to Bayóvar 9 concession from Piura is through the Panamericana highway for approximately 110 kilometers south and then 30 kilometers west on a paved road that connects the Panamericana with Bayóvar
Diatomite concession in Bayóvar 9 area located in the north of the Peruvian coast. Additionally, the concession contains phosphate rock which will be extracted under the multilayer open-pit model, using conventional and continuous mining methods. The estimated production is 2.5 mm MT of phosphate rock concentrate each year, with a content of approximately 30% of P2O5

Fosfatos del Pacífico is seeking a strategic partner to drive the development of the project and supply phosphate rock to both the local and international markets.

Humberto Nadal del Carpio (President)
Mr. Nadal joined the Company as Corporate Development Manager in June 2007, has been a Director since March 2008 and CEO since April 2011. He is currently Vice Chairman of Ferreycorp S.A.A. and Ferreyros S.A. since August 2020, and independent member of the Board of Directors of Ferreycorp S.A.A. and Ferreyros S.A. since March 2017 and a Director of HCIG S.A. since 2024. He is also CEO of ASPI, Fosfatos del Pacífico and FOSSAL, director of the Asociación de Productores de Cemento (Asocem); and former president and current member of the Board of Trustees of Universidad del Pacífico. He is a director of the GCCA, a global association that brings together most of the world’s cement producing companies. He is director of FICEM, an association of cement producers in Latin America that comprises 80% of the companies in the region. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences of the Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC). Previously, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fondo Mi Vivienda. Member of the G-50 group. He is an economist graduated from Universidad del Pacífico and has an MBA from Georgetown University.

Mr. Morales has been a Director since March 2008 and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Cementos Pacasmayo. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Credicorp LTD., Banco de Crédito del Perú S.A. and Pacífico Cía. Seguros y Reaseguros. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Atlantic Security Holding Corporation, Grupo Crédito S.A., Solución Empresa Administradora Hipotecaria S.A., Fosfatos del Pacífico S.A. and Grupo Romero. He served as General Manager of BCP from 1990 to 2008 and previously held various positions at Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank between 1970 and 1980. Mr. Morales holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico in Lima, Peru, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, United States.

Ms. Hayashi was Finance Managing Director from January 2022 until March 31, 2025. She is currently the Company’s CFO. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Fosfatos del Pacífico S.A. and FOSSAL S.A.A. since April 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. Ms. Hayashi joined Cementos Pacasmayo in 2006 and has held various positions in operational and financial areas throughout her more than 18 years with the company.

Mr. Durand joined the Hochschild Group in 1994 and has been the General Counsel and Legal Vice President of the Company since 2008. Previously, he was Legal Vice President of Hochschild Mining plc. He is a lawyer graduated from the Universidad de Lima and a Master of Business Administration from the Universidad del Pacífico. Among other studies, he participated in the Management Program for Lawyers and in the Corporate Governance and Performance Program of the Yale School of Management (United States), in the Strategic Negotiations Program of Harvard Business School (United States) and in the Prince of Wales Business & Sustainability Program of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (United Kingdom). Currently, Mr. Durand is a member of the Board of Directors of ASPI, UTEC and TECSUP. He has also been a Director of FOSPAC since March 30, 2021, a Director of FOSSAL since March 24, 2023 and a Director of HCIG S.A. since 2024
